Dr. Kathleen Burke-Kelly First Recipient Of The Above & Beyond Award

Dr. Kathleen Burke-Kelly, City’s Vice-President of Academic Affairs, was given the inaugural Above and Beyond Award at the spring 2008 quarterly Union meeting. This tribute was created to honor those senior administrators who actively support our daily and long-term efforts as well as mentor us “above and beyond” the norm. Dr. Burke-Kelly understands the huge time commitment necessary to conduct Unit business and has enabled me to respond to issues and needs as soon as they arise. I would not be able to function successfully in my union capacity without this independence.
